Ghost Pepper
Ghost Pepper is also known as Bhut Jolokia. It is the hottest commercially grown chile pepper. Bhut Jolokia is a former World's Hottest Pepper, when it gained the title in 2007 with a heat rating of 1,041,427 Scoville Heat Units. Ghost Pepper has since been surpassed as the hottest pepper by the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion and then the Carolina Reaper. However the Ghost Pepper remains very popular. Ghost peppers originated in Assam in the northern part of India. Our ghost peppers are grown in Ecuador.
