The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion was crowned World's Hottest Pepper in February of 2012 and can be over 2 million Scoville units of heat. It has since been surpassed by the Carolina Reaper in heat. At Alamo Peppers we carry dried Scorpion peppers grown in Ecuador. They are great quality and have nice heat and great flavor.
Scorpion chile peppers are available in dried whole pods, sometimes with the stem. Or they are available in a powder, which is the dried pod ground to a fine powder.
