  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup white onion, diced
  • 4 oz black beans
  • 1/4 tsp Jalapeno Salt
  • 1/4 dried Carolina Reaper pepper, chopped fine
  • 4 tortillas
  • salsa

Wear gloves when handling hot peppers and wash hands thoroughly.

Heat pan to medium-low. Add ground pork, season with Jalapeno Salt and let cook in the pan without stirring until the pork is brown on the bottom. Meanwhile, prepare the black beans. If using canned beans, drain the beans and heat them in a pot on low to reduce the liquid. When the bottom of the pork is brown, stir the pork, add diced onions and the chopped Carolina Reaper pepper. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until pork is done.

Heat a pan to medium to heat the tortillas. When the pork and black beans are ready, put the tortillas one at a time in the pan. Turn when they start to get spots of color and bubble.

Assemble the burritos by smearing black beans on the tortilla. Add the pork, onion and Carolina Reaper mixture. Top of with your choice of salsa. Roll up and enjoy!
