There are many varieties of Trinidad Scorpion superhot chile peppers. The most famous of the Trinidad Scorpions are the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion was the Worlds' Hottest Pepper until October 2013 when it was surpassed by the Carolina Reaper chile pepper. The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion was crowned World's Hottest Pepper in February of 2012 and can be over 2 million Scoville units of heat.

Trinidad Scorpion (Butch T) - plump chili with a smooth surface and a tail like the stinger on a scorpion.
Moruga Scorpion - at just over 2 million Scoville units It is larger than the Butch T, usually without the presence of the stinger tail.
Trinidad 7 Pot Jonah - is a hot chili from south east Trinidad. It is quite bumpy and is a version of the Trinidad 7 Pot pepper.
Trinidad Chocolate 7 Pot Douglah - is another super hot chili from the Southeastern region of Trinidad. Flavor is sweeter than the 7 Pot, and just under 2 million Scoville units.
